Auch wenn es nur langsam ist, aber es geht wieder los und die ersten Gäste dürfen wieder nach Afrika reisen! Afrika wie vor 50 Jahren, viel Natur und wenig Tourismus!
Nationalparks und Wildschutzgebiete werden zwischen 70-100% durch Einnahmen aus dem Tourismus und Nationalparkgebühren finanziert. Entsprechende Hygiene Protokolle für das ‚neue Reisen‘ sind längst eingeführt und ‚social distancing‘ und Abstand kann in Wildgebieten und kleinen Safari Unterkünften vorbildlich umgesetzt werden.
Von unseren Freunden in Namibia, Tansania und Kenia kam eine Mail mit einer endlosen Reihe an Smileys und Herzen: Wir haben geöffnet, ihr könnt wieder zu uns kommen. Mit unserem ausgefeilten Gesundheitskonzept sind wir in der Lage, auf alles zu reagieren, was wir heute noch nicht kennen.
An jeden Tag den wir länger in Deutschland verbringen und nicht nach Afrika reisen dürfen, wächst die Sehnsucht, diese unfassbar schöne Region der Welt endlich wieder mit eigenen Sinnen erleben zu dürfen weiter… Wir können es kaum erwarten… AFRIKA – statt träumen selbst erleben!
Wir vermissen die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und Freundlichkeit der Menschen ebenso wie die unberührte Natur. Und für die Menschen vor Ort sind die Konsequenzen verheerend, wenn keine internationalen Touristen, Gäste und Freunde empfangen werden.
Auf welchem Kontinent haben wir eine derartige Artenvielfalt in den Nationalparks, eine Fülle großartiger Tausende Jahre alter Kultur, Stammesleben, das sich authentisch bis ins 21. Jh. erhalten hat, Gastfreundschaft, die wirklich genau das meint? Und das mit einer meist erstklassigen Infrastruktur.
Es gibt wohl keinen besseren Moment als jetzt, um die unberührte Natur und die Tiervielfalt Ostafrikas ungestört entdecken zu können. Alle Leistungsträger vor Ort vollbringen einen außerordentlichen Einsatz, um die Sicherheit der Gäste zu gewährleisten. Die großzügigen Platzverhältnisse vor Ort lassen dies auf eine sympathische und freundliche Art bestens zu.
Wir freuen über jede Reise, die wieder nach Afrika stattfinden kann. Die Menschen vor Ort brauchen den Tourismus. Ihre Anstrengungen für einen sicheren Aufenthalt der Urlauber verdienen unseren Respekt. Diesen wunderbaren Kontinent mit seinen gastfreundlichen Menschen und der vielfältigen Tierwelt sollte jeder einmal kennen lernen.
